Sunglint on the Alabama Stream

.In this June 26, 2023, picture drawn from the International Spaceport station, sun light shines off the soft waters of the Alabama Stream in a phenomenon referred to as sunglint. When capturing The planet, rocketeers frequently take advantage of sunglint's tendency to boost the contrast between water areas and concerning property areas.In the 1960s, the Alabama Stream was dammed, producing Dannelly Storage tank (the huge shining region at center left). Building and construction of the dam likewise reared water levels upriver. This led to flooding at many factors along the river.
